Michele Faioli

Michele Faioli is an Associate Professor at Università Cattolica (Italy). He teaches courses in the areas of labor relations and comparative labor law, including industrial relations, social security, European labor law. Faioli's comparative research mainly looks at collective bargaining impact on labor relations. As Visiting Fellow at the ILR School of Cornell University and at Fordham Law he carried out investigations on international labor rights, global trade and unions strategies. Michele has written widely on tech and labor law (see his recent book, "Mansioni e macchina intelligente", Giappichelli, 2018), undeclared work, social security, pension funds and other topics for a variety of law reviews and journals. After his appointment to the CNEL (Consiglio Nazionale dell'Economia e del Lavoro) in 2018, he conducted investigations also on the social applications of blockchain. Prof. Faioli chairs the SERI - Scuola Europea di Relazioni Industriali. He directed the EUROFOUND Italian Observatory.
